FINALLY!
ive decided to let u guys in on my secret cookie recipe.

Ever wonder why i can make such yummylicious cookies. TODAY. NOW

it will all be revealed... ( like very drama-mama hor)

Anyway...

Here's the ingredients that you need.

1/2 cup of butter.(around 125g)
1/2 cup of brown sugar.
1/2 cup of white sugar.
1 & 1/4 cup of self raising flour.
1 egg.
vanilla essence.
milk.
salt.
choc chips.
cocoa powder.
SECRET INGREDIENT!!!

STEP 1 : Add the butter into the mixing bowl.

Step 2 : Cut the butter into tiny tiny cubes.
For easier mixing.

Step 3 : Add the both the brown and white sugar.
In my case, instead of adding 1/2 a cup each. I only added 1/4 cup of brown sugar and 3/5 cup of white sugar. Because my secret ingredient is relatively sweet and that i am going to add alot of choc chips, thus i need to minimise the amount of sugar use.

Thus i would advice everybody to stick to the original given amount of sugars.

Step 4 : Mix the sugar and butter together until the batter is fluffy or "white".
From this step onwards, please ensure that you stir in the same direction at all times.
The batter should look something like this.

Step 5 : Add the egg.
Make sure it is well-beaten.
Point to note. please add the beaten egg bit by bit. DO NOT add everytime at one go unless u can mix as fast as an electrical mixer.

Step 6 : Add the milk, vanilla essence and salt.
The suggested amounts would be 3 tsp of milk and 1 tsp of vanilla essence. Salt, just sprinkle a little. You can choose not to add any salt.

The amount of vanilla essence and milk mainly contribute to the aroma of the cookies. But if you add more of these, please add slightly more flour in the later process. Your batter cannot have too much moisture.

Step 7 : Sift the flour. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C.

Step 8 : Add the flour(bit by bit) to the batter. Mix well.
In my case. I only added 1 cup of flour cause my secret ingredient is in powder form.
The amount of flour determines the dry-ness of the cookie. The more flour, the more "solid" your cookie will be.

Step 9 : Add the cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
This, the amount is up to individual. If you like it really chocolately, add tonnes of both.
For me, i added 1 tsp of cocoa powder and about 1 & 1/2 cups of chocolate chips.

Mix the batter well and you are ready to bake. Prepare your baking pan.
Whereas for me, i have to add my SPECIAL ingredient. =)
Try making a guess, i will only reveal it a couple of days later.

Step 10 : Oil the baking pan.

Step 11 : Place the dough onto the baking pan.
Ensure that there is enough space in between the dough such that it wont stick together.

Put it in the oven for approximately 10mins. When the edges of the cookie is brown. it is ready.

And now, you just have to pack it and keep it nicely in a air-tight container. =)

This recipe makes about 65 medium sized cookies.
